Today I biked fast with a headwind because I was late. So it was a good workout. The temperature was 55 F, winds north at 15 mph when I left at 8:30 am. I ran a few errands and then came home around noon. Temperature was up to 57 F, winds 11 mph from the NW, gusting to 17. Here's the start of the bike path on this blustery fall day--even though it's still August, as many of us are pointing out to each other.
From Dec. 22, 2008 to mar. 14, 2010 I posted about my daily commute in Madison, Wisconsin. It was fun to log pictures of the bike path and my brief thoughts and weather conditions throughout the year. Then I got interested in other things and stopped blogging for over a year. I still commute daily, even longer now (7 miles one way) and absolutely love it.
Now I'm blogging my biking experiences while traveling. I love to take my road bike and mountain bike along with me on road trips in the car. It's a great way to see the country and meet locals. It makes business and family trips a lot more fun, in addition to vacations.
