yes, yes, another gorgeous summer day, and I had to work inside all morning. at least I was painting window wells so could look out the window. I left at 8:30 am. Temperature was 72 F, winds 8 mph from the south. I had a tailwind and that was good. the bike path:
On the way home at 1 pm, I was tired, both from my manual labor, and last night's ride, I had a headwind. Temperature was 85 F, winds 10 mph gusting to 20 from the S. I just went slow. it was still nice.
From Dec. 22, 2008 to mar. 14, 2010 I posted about my daily commute in Madison, Wisconsin. It was fun to log pictures of the bike path and my brief thoughts and weather conditions throughout the year. Then I got interested in other things and stopped blogging for over a year. I still commute daily, even longer now (7 miles one way) and absolutely love it.
Now I'm blogging my biking experiences while traveling. I love to take my road bike and mountain bike along with me on road trips in the car. It's a great way to see the country and meet locals. It makes business and family trips a lot more fun, in addition to vacations.
