Another cold morning and to be honest, I wasn't in the mood for it. Temperature was 8 degrees F, winds 8 mph from the NNE at 7:45 am. Since it was a headwind, I wore my goggles again! But actually it was pretty nice. It was sunny. On the way home, after yoga and grocery store, temperature was up to 19 degrees F, winds NNE at 7, so a very pleasant ride home. I rode slowly, partly because I was loaded up with groceries and partly because I just felt like it.
Ducks on the Yahara river, a little more active today than the last time I saw them. But they were doing their tucked in thing to keep warm.
From Dec. 22, 2008 to mar. 14, 2010 I posted about my daily commute in Madison, Wisconsin. It was fun to log pictures of the bike path and my brief thoughts and weather conditions throughout the year. Then I got interested in other things and stopped blogging for over a year. I still commute daily, even longer now (7 miles one way) and absolutely love it.
Now I'm blogging my biking experiences while traveling. I love to take my road bike and mountain bike along with me on road trips in the car. It's a great way to see the country and meet locals. It makes business and family trips a lot more fun, in addition to vacations.
